What ingredients are in Horse Fuel?

How much vitamin D3 is in each gummy?
84 mcg (3,360 IU), or 420% of the Daily Value. That is above the 15-20 mcg adults typically need and under the 100 mcg adult upper limit.
How much boron is in each gummy?
7 mg, close to the 10 mg used in one small 1-week hormone study, and under the 20 mg adult upper limit.
How much of each herb is in the blend?
100 mcg each for fenugreek, maca, tribulus and horny goat weed. That is 0.1 mg, roughly 1 mg of raw herb once the 10:1 extract ratio is counted back.
Is that enough of the herbs to work?
Probably not on its own. Fenugreek's best human data used 250-600 mg a day of extract (Mansoori et al., 2020), thousands of times more than 100 mcg.
Does the label have any errors?
Yes. The Tribulus Terrestris line prints fenugreek's Latin name, Trigonella foenum-graecum, instead of tribulus's own name. The maker has not confirmed which plant is inside.
Is Horse Fuel vegetarian or vegan?
Not stated. The gummy base, gelatin or pectin, sweetener, colors and flavors are not visible on the photographed panels, so this site does not guess at that claim.
Safety and who should avoid it
Who should not take Horse Fuel?
Anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or nursing, and anyone with a medical condition should ask a physician first, per the label caution.
Can I take Horse Fuel with blood thinners?

Is the boron in Horse Fuel safe?
7 mg is under the 20 mg adult upper limit for boron, but total intake from all supplements should stay under that limit (National Institutes of Health, 2024).
Can I take Horse Fuel with diabetes medicine?
Ask your doctor. Fenugreek may lower blood sugar, which can add to a diabetes medicine's effect.
What if the safety seal on my bottle is damaged?
